| Overview | Reliably generate mature human liver organoids that demonstrate hepatic functionality with Organoid Differentiation Medium (ODM) (Human), which includes all components required to support robust differentiation of hepatic organoids derived from fresh or cryopreserved human liver tissue. Available either individually or as part of Organoid Kit (Human), ODM can be used to differentiate organoids initiated in Organoid Initiation Medium (Human) and/or expanded in Organoid Growth Medium (Human). Organoids differentiated with ODM express hepatocyte markers (ALB, CYP3A4, MRP4) and exhibit upregulated albumin secretion and CYP3A4 activity relative to undifferentiated organoids. These organoids can be adapted to a range of culture protocols, including suspension cultures and high-throughput assays. |
